about me….

I started my working life at Livingetc magazine, working my way through the editorial ranks to Style Editor where I stayed for 2 years commissioning and styling shoots on a monthly basis but variety was the spice of life for me and so freelancing beckoned. I have worked with a huge range of clients, Fortnum & Mason, Sunday Times Style, Red, Homes & Gardens, BBC Good Homes, Harrods, Marks & Spencer, Jamie Oliver, Sainsburys, Ocado, Bombay Duck, Laura Ashley, The Conran Shop, Jo Malone, John Lewis, Waitrose…. to name a few. With every shoot being so incredibly varied I found myself putting my hand to just about everything and learning the tricks of the trade along the way. Now a wife and mum of two children, 1 dog and 1 cat, I met Ali at the school gates and we decided our wealth of experience needn’t be a thing of the past and so iris imagery was born. Our key aim is to help growing businesses compete in an overwhelming retail market and all from our Kent based home studio. For me it’s all about making the product the ‘hero’, so if it’s paired back and minimal or quirky and ‘out there’ that epitomises your brand we can create a shoot that works for you and your product.
