A home, a hotel, a bar, a lobby, or a restaurant may be beautifully designed, but whatever your space may be, to showcase the interior design, it will need additional elements and make it more inviting to the client. Beautiful camera angles and lighting will make your space even more appealing - and don’t forget the right kind of props to ‘soften’ your space and to give you an aspirational ‘lived-in’ look. We have props galore to fit the bill!
Charrington’s Fruit Farms is a Kent based second generation apple orchard. Historically, Charrington’s has produced apples for retail sale and over the past decade, they have diversified into drinks production with the most delicious ‘Great Taste’ award winning apple juices and pale, prosecco-like craft ciders you will undoubtedly ever taste.
To be able to approach additional retailers in an increasingly competitive drinks market, we worked together with Charrington’s to create a cohesive collection of striking images that would work for their marketing material throughout the changing seasons; a summer celebration, a lazy Spring breakfast, Bonfire Night, party cocktails and mocktails, and Christmas canapés.
It was lovely to receive such a glowing endorsement from the business owner:
“This is exactly what we need. These images are absolutely beautiful…. genuinely lovely touches that will resonate brilliantly with our audience.”

Watts Farms is a third generation farm with over 600 hectares of farmland across Kent, Essex and Bedfordshire. Donald Watts set up the farm as a returning WW2 soldier, and one of his daughters along with her husband and now their son have built the business to supply their produce into over 500 restaurants, major retailers and the NHS. As the restrictions of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic lead to temporary closures in the hospitality sector, Ed Watts set up an online store to enable anyone to be able to purchase their delicious seasonal fruit, vegetables, meats and bespoke provision boxes. For this, beautiful photography was required and we were delighted to help!
Tastefully and carefully propped and softly lit against our backdrops and linens, these meats, cheeses and vegetables look appetising and delicious, we hope you’ll agree..?

These stunning rolls of fabrics are from the Winter ‘20/21 ‘Blooms & Foliage’ collection from Kent based fabric designers, Willis Bloom.
Styling and shooting these fabrics, we could literally feel the joy bursting from the vibrant colours and motifs, all hand drawn by Willis Bloom founder, Abigail Willis.
Here at Iris Imagery we often have to think outside of the box when propping and styling products to make them look both aspirational and authentic. The material for this shoot was destined to be chopped up into swatches following the shoot, so arrived on a single roll in 8 individual colour ways, each strip 1400x400mm. We needed to make it look as if there were sumptuous reams of each colour-way wrapped around the beautifully worn-in cardboard tubes. So, we used a lot of material from our prop stock wrapped around and around the tubes to varying thicknesses and then wrapped our glorious Willis Bloom fabrics over the top! Ta-dah!! 💚🌿
We’ve fallen head over heels for these leaves and flower designs…
This batch of material has all gone on to its new homes, interior designers’ design studios and haberdashery retailers. And the photographs? They were all destined for the Willis Bloom website and to be showcased on the Willis Bloom social media carousels. You can check them out at www.willisbloom.com and @willis_bloom.
Cosset & Coddle needed a revamp. They had a strong brand and delicious products, but used phone snaps for their imagery that did nothing to celebrate their beautiful home fragrances.
By sourcing evocative props relevant to each individual fragrance’s ingredients and by creating super soft lighting, we were able to bring their products and candle-making processes to life. We love to create a strong visual brand identity.
Cosset & Coddle is yet to go live with its photography - we can’t wait to see! 🕯🌷🌿
Em is Emma Williams, a Kent based artist and sign designer, specialising in gilding and hand painted lettering onto the rear face of glass.
To launch her beautiful bespoke gold leaf artwork collection with Not On The High Street, Emma needed her own punchy photographic artwork from us!
She also needed some ‘work in progress’ shots to showcase her intricate processes and craftsmanship for her Instagram, web and other social media platforms.
We worked with Em to understand her work, her collection and her audience to deliver this eye-catching portfolio of images.

Lavender & Lillie wanted sophisticated and bold photography to showcase their eye catching home fragrances and body pampering products. They also wanted to present each collection of the L&L range encompassing lots of products all in one shot. Some creative thinking was required; we listened to Lavender and Lillie’s story to the inspiration behind the fragrances and product collection and we came up with a fresh concept that showed their brand and beautiful packaging to its best.
The Lavender and Lillie scented candles, body lotions, hand soaps, body washes, hand creams and room diffusers are all about the provenance and life journey so far of Lillie and Chris, the scents’ creators and the L&L brand founders. From Lillie’s upbringing in The Seychelles to childhood memories of family time spent in India, their wedding in Venice, Italy, and married life in London, their scents evoke memories and the energy of these vibrant cities, an energy which is also reflected in the amazingly beautiful had drawn packaging.
Our little origami whale icon featured here and the turquoise ocean waves backdrop are our nod to Praslin in The Seychelles. The idea behind the image is you wear the fragrance, and the scent takes you to that beautiful island paradise…
We’re sure you’ll agree these images look like they could have been lifted straight from the pages of a glossy magazine!

Hamerton + Jones (H+J) café has sadly been a casualty of the Covid-19 pandemic. Once a thriving café at the heart of a picturesque Kent village, the café owners handed back the keys in November 2020 during the second national lockdown. It was such a pity, as this stylish and fun little café was always full of chatty energy, school mums and post gym friends meeting up to sample the great coffee and quirky, ethically-sourced homewares.
We worked together with the owners to create a storytale narrative through their images that conveyed the company’s ethos; relaxed and friendly alongside their vintage furniture, pretty gifts and sustainably produced kitchen and home office desirables.
We really enjoyed working with the H+J team on these images for their web page, and wish them all the very best for the future of their online homeware store.
And boy will we miss those cauliflower warming bowls with and homemade flat breads! xx
Let us take on the creative concepts and time consuming task of sourcing the best props and backdrops for your shoot, taking away the hassle and giving you time to continue growing your business.
We also have a wide range of props available in our studio for your use.

Izzy at Made Happy contacted us for some fresh and creative photography for her colourful brick letters. We created mini sets in bright colours to replicate little corners of a playroom and bedroom to showcase the bricks as children's names as well as cute phrases. We even got a little Christmassy with the stocking filler gifts and initial baubles!
